In 1957,the first man-made satellite went into space.

1957年10月4日，世界上第一顆人造衛(wèi)星斯普特尼克1號發(fā)射成功了，開創(chuàng)了人類航天新紀(jì)元。

斯普特尼克1號是個(gè)鋁制球體，直徑58厘米，重83.6千克，有4根鞭狀天線，內(nèi)裝有科學(xué)儀器。

1961年4月12日，蘇聯(lián)宇航員尤里.加加林乘坐“東方號”飛船進(jìn)入了人造地球衛(wèi)星軌道，成為人類進(jìn)入太空第一人，這標(biāo)志著人類宇航時(shí)代開始了。

2003年10月15日北京時(shí)間9時(shí)，楊利偉乘由長征二號F火箭運(yùn)載的神舟五號飛船首次進(jìn)入太空，是中華人民共和國第一位進(jìn)入太空的太空人。

2003年10月，我爸爸乘坐“神舟五號”飛入太空。

神舟五號載人飛船是“神舟”號系列飛船之一，是中國首次發(fā)射的載人航天飛行器，于2003年10月15日將航天員楊利偉送入太空。

這次的成功發(fā)射標(biāo)志著中國成為繼前蘇聯(lián)（現(xiàn)由俄羅斯承繼）和美國之后，第三個(gè)有能力獨(dú)自將人送上太空的國家。

He spent about twenty-one hours in space.

他在太空中度過了大約21個(gè)小時(shí)。
