Life was very different in China many years ago.
在很多年前的中國，生活大不相同。
表示過去的go
any表示“一些，一點，若干”，常用于疑問句和否定句中；some“一些”，常用于肯定句
中。在含有some的肯定句中變?yōu)榉穸ň浠蛞话阋蓡柧鋾r，常把some變?yōu)閍ny。
ago在句中不能單獨使用，它前面必須有表示時間的詞：
I saw him four days ago.
我四天前見過他。
Lingling visited her grandpa two weeks ago.
玲玲兩個星期前看過她的爺爺。

怎么不同呢？

當表達“某人住在某地某地”時，可以用下面的句型：
主語+lived in+地點（+過去時間）
We lived in a small house two years ago.
兩年前我們住在一座小房子里。
She lived in Beijing in the past.
過去她住在北京。
We didn't have enough food.
There weren't many buses.
沒有這么多的公交車。

表示現(xiàn)在“有”或“沒有”
There is/are...
There isn't/aren't....
肯定句：
There was/were+物（+過去時間）
There was a pen.
（過去）有一支鋼筆。
There were some pens yesterday.
昨天有一些鋼筆。
否定句：
There wasn't/weren't+物（+過去時間）
There wasn't a pen.
（過去）沒有一支鋼筆。
There weren't any pens yesterday.
昨天沒有鋼筆。
There weren't any televisions.
any任何，一些
Is there any water in the bottle?
瓶子里有些水嗎？
拓展：any用于否定句，疑問句中表示“任何，一些”。
some用于肯定句中。
There are some buses.
有一些公交車。
There aren't any buses.
沒有任何公交車。

有一些公交車嗎？
