Tom's New Hobby
湯姆的新愛好
It is a rainy day.
這是一個(gè)雨天。
Tom looks out of the window.
湯姆望向窗外。
"Rain,rain,go away.
Come again another day.Little Tom wants to play.Come again another day,"he sings.
“雨，雨，走吧。
改天再來吧。小湯姆想玩耍。改天再來吧?！彼?。
Tom gets down from his chair.He goes into his parents' room.Mum is at the table.She has got a large box and many cards."What are those,Mum?"asks 
湯姆從他的椅子上下來。       他走進(jìn)父母的房間。             媽媽坐在桌子前。她有一個(gè)大盒子和許多卡片。                  “那些是什么，媽媽？”湯
Tom.
姆問道。
"They're postcards,"says Mum.
“它們是明信片?！眿寢屨f。
"Can I have a look?"asks Tom.
“我能看一看嗎？”湯姆問道。
"Of course,"says Mum."Look at this one.It's from Daming,in the US.It's got a picture of Chinatown in New York."
“當(dāng)然，”媽媽說，“看這張。           這是來自大明的，他從美國寄來的?？ㄆ嫌屑~約唐人街的照片?！?/div>
"And what about this one?"Tom asks.
"這張呢？“湯姆問。
"That's a picture of Hong Kong.It's from Dad's friend,Mr Xu."
“那是香港的照片。             它是爸爸的朋友徐先生寄來的?！?/div>
"You've got lots of postcards,"says Tom.
“你有好多明信片?！睖氛f。
"Yes,I love postcards,"says Mum.
“是的，我喜歡明信片，”媽媽說，“是我搜集明信片?！?/div>
"I collect them."
“I want to collect something too,"Tom thinks and walks intong room.Dad is at his desk.
“我也想收集些東西?！睖愤@樣想著，并走進(jìn)了起居室。爸爸坐在他的桌前。
"What are those,Dad?"asks Tom.
“那些是什么，爸爸？”湯姆問道。
"This is my stamp collection,"says Dad."It's very old."
“這是我的集郵，”爸爸說，“它很古老了?！?/div>
"Can I collect stamps too?"asks Tom.
“我也能集郵嗎？”湯姆問道。
"Yes,"says Dad."But we don't get many letters now people send emails"
“是的，”爸爸說道，“但是我們現(xiàn)在沒有很多信了。人們都發(fā)電子郵件?！?/div>
"Oh,"says Tom.
"I want to collect something too,"Tom thinks and goes to his room.
“我也想搜集些東西?！睖愤@樣想著，并走進(jìn)了他的房間。
He looks at his shelves.
他看著自己的架子。
He's got some colouring books,but that isn't a collection.He opens his toy box.He's got some cars,but that isn't a collection.He counts his

balls."One,two,three."That isn't a collection.
 一、二、三?！?      那也不是收藏。
Tom goes back to the sitting room.
湯姆回到起居室。
"You don't look very happy,Tom,"Dad says.
“你看起來不大高興，湯姆?！卑职终f。
"I want to collect something,"says Tom.
“我想搜集一些東西?！睖氛f。
"Well,"says Dad,"I have an idea."
“嗯，”爸爸說，“我有一個(gè)主意?！?/div>
He opens a drawer in his desk.
他打開桌子上的一個(gè)抽屜。
He takes out a small box.
他拿出一個(gè)小盒子。
"This is from Uncle Fred,"he says.
“這是弗雷德叔叔送的。”他說道。
"Oh yes,"says Tom."Uncle Fred is a pilot."
“哦，是的，湯姆說，”弗雷德叔叔是個(gè)飛行員?！?/div>
"That's right,"says Dad.
“對?！卑职终f
"And he has sent you some model planes.Look!
“他還送了你一些飛機(jī)模型?？?！”
Tom looks in the box.There are four small planes.
湯姆往盒子里看了看。  有四個(gè)小飛機(jī)。
"These are from different airlines"says Dad.
“這些都來自不同航空公司，”爸爸說，“這個(gè)是日本的。
"This one is Japanese.This one is Mexican.This one is 
                      這個(gè)是墨西哥的。
American.And this one is Chinese.Uncle Fred knows you  love planes.
這個(gè)是美國的。 這個(gè)是中國的。    弗雷德叔叔知道你喜歡飛機(jī)
"Wow!"says Tom."You can have them now,"says Dad."You can start a plane collection."
“哇！”湯姆說道?！艾F(xiàn)在就歸你了，”爸爸說，     “你可以開始搜集飛機(jī)了。”
