頻度副詞的用法
1、usually,always,often等通常和一般現(xiàn)在時連用表示現(xiàn)在經(jīng)?；蚍磸桶l(fā)生的動作。
It often rains here in April.
這兒四月份經(jīng)常下雨。
2、always與進行時連用時并不強調(diào)動作正在進行而是表示贊嘆、厭煩等情緒。
He is always thinking of others.
他總是想著別人。
She is always asking silly questions.
她老是問些愚蠢的問題。
3、對頻度副詞提問時用how often.
I write to my brother sometimes.
有時我給哥哥寫信。
How often do you write to your brother?
你多久給你哥哥寫信?
4、sometimes也可放在句首、句中或句末；often也可放在句末。
Sometimes she writes to me.
她有時候給我寫信。
she writes to me often.
她經(jīng)常給我寫信。

重點解析
在一般現(xiàn)在時的肯定句中，當主語是第三人稱單數(shù)時，謂語動詞也要用第三人稱單數(shù)形式。
動詞第三人稱單數(shù)的變化規(guī)則如下：
1）一般情況下，在詞尾加-s。
如：play-plays
He plays football in the afternoon.
他在下午踢足球。
2）以s,x,sh,ch結(jié)尾的動詞，在詞尾加-es。
如：watch-watches
She watches TV in the evening.
她在晚上看電視。
3）以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的重讀閉音節(jié)動詞，要把y變i，再加-es,
如：fly-flies
