Language points
1. The Sun is about 1,300,000 times larger than the Earth.
英語中常用的表達倍數(shù)的句型有：
1、A+be+倍數(shù)+as+計量形容詞原級+as+B.
2、A+be+倍數(shù)+計量形容詞比較級+than+B.
e.g. This bridge is there times longer than that one.
     這座橋是那座橋的三倍長。
     This bridge is three times as long as that one.
     這座橋是那座橋的三倍長。
2. stop doing sth. “停止做某事”，doing是stop的賓浯，是要停止的動作；
   stop to do sth. “停下來開始做某事”，to do是stop的狀語，表示目的，是要開始做的事情。
e.g.:
1. The two girls stopped talking when they saw me.
   那兩個女孩一見到我就停止了講話。
2. The two girls stopped to talk to me when they saw me.
   這兩個女孩一看到我就停下來和我講話。
3. Fish sleep with their eyes open.
   魚睜著眼睡覺。
1）“with+名詞+形容詞/介詞短語”在句中作狀語。如：
 He likes to sleep with window open.
 He came into the room with a book in his hand.
2）fish既可作可數(shù)名詞也可作不可數(shù)名詞。
·1、fish用作可數(shù)名詞指“魚的條數(shù)”時單數(shù)和復(fù)數(shù)形式相同（two fish兩條魚）；
·2、指“魚的種類”時復(fù)數(shù)形式才為fishes（two fishes兩種魚）；
·3、fish用作不可數(shù)名詞時無復(fù)數(shù)形式，應(yīng)作“魚肉”解（Help yourself to some fish. 隨便吃些魚。）；
·4、fish用作動詞時，它的含義又與“釣（捕）魚”有關(guān)（go fishing 去釣魚）。
