方位表達(dá)方式
我們學(xué)過了許多表示方位的介詞和短語，讓我們一起來總結(jié)一下：
1.on the left/right   在左邊/右邊
In Britain cars drive on the left,but in China on the right.
在英國，汽車靠左側(cè)行駛，但在中國汽車靠右側(cè)行駛。
2.next to 意為“靠近，與...緊挨著”，其近義詞為near,意為“不遠(yuǎn)的，接近的”，指空間或時間上。如:
Her home is next to her school.
她家靠近她的學(xué)校。
3.opposite  在..對面，與...相對
Can you see the shop opposite the railway station?
你能看到火車站對面的商店嗎？
4.on the corner of   在...拐角處
The public phone is on the corner of the street.
公用電話在這條街的拐角處。
5.between...and    在...之間
There is a supermarket between the school and the hospital.
在學(xué)校或醫(yī)院之間有一家超市。
6.on指兩個物體表面接觸，一個在另一個上面；ove表示一物體的位置高于另一物體，在其正上方，其反義詞是under 如：
Your hat is on the bed.
你的帽子在床上。
There's a bridge over the river.
河上有座橋。

Around world
The Winter Palace,in St Petersburg,Russia,was from 1732 to 1917,the official residence of the Russian Tsars.Situated between the Palace Embankment and the Palace Square.
Now it's part of the Hermitage Museum,and everyone can go and see the paintings and learn about Russian history.Opposite the museum,on the other side of the River Neva,is St Peter's Church.You can walk across the river over Trinity Bridge.
Winter palace,the Forbidden City,the British museum,Louvre and New York's metropolitan museum of art are together called the world's five museums.
