The giant's garden
In the castle lives a giant.He has a beautiful garden.
城堡里住著一個巨人。他有一個漂亮的花園。
One day,the giant goes out.
一天，巨人外出了。
Some children come and play in his garden.They have a good time.
一些小孩子來到花園里玩耍。他們玩得很高興。
The giant comes back and sees the children.
巨人回來后看到了這些小孩。
He is very angry."Get out!"he shouts.
他非常生氣。他大聲喊道：“出去！”
The children are afraid and run away.
孩子們害怕地逃開了。
The giant builds a tall wall all around the garden and puts up a sign.
巨人在花園的周邊都砌上了高高的圍墻，還貼了一個告示牌。
Now the children cannot play in his garden.
現(xiàn)在孩子們不能進(jìn)到花園里面去玩耍了。
Miss Spring arrives.She brings beautiful flowers and birds.
春姑娘來了。她帶來了美麗的鮮花和小鳥。
But she sees the sign on the giant's castle.
但是她看見了巨人城堡上的告示牌。
So she does not go there.
所以她沒有去哪兒。
The giant looks at his garden.There is snow everywhere.
巨人看著他的花園。到處都是雪。
He feels very cold and very sad."It's so cold.Why did Miss Spring not come this year?"
他感覺非常寒冷非常傷心。“太冷了。春姑娘今年為什么不來呢？”
Then,Miss Summer and Miss Autumn do not come to the castle either.
后來，夏姑娘和秋姑娘也沒有來城堡。
It is always winter in the giant's garden.
巨人的花園里一直都是冬天。
One morning,the giant hears some lovely sounds from his garden.
一天早晨，巨人聽到花園傳來可愛的聲音。
He smells the flowers too.
他也聞到了花香。
"Spring is here at last!"he thinks.
“春天終于來啦！”他想。
The giant is happy and looks out of the window.
巨人非常高興，向窗外看去。
He seems some children.
他看見一些小孩子。
They come into the garden through a hole in the wall.
他們從墻上的一個洞口鉆進(jìn)花園。
They bring Miss Spring into his garden!
他們把春姑娘帶進(jìn)了花園！
"let me break down the wall.You can play in my garden forever and ever,"the giant says to the children.
“讓我推到這堵墻。你們可以永遠(yuǎn)永遠(yuǎn)地在我的花園里面玩耍。”巨人對小孩子們說。
From then on,Miss Spring,Miss Summer and Miss Autumn never come late again.
從那以后，春娘娘、夏姑娘和秋姑娘再也沒有遲來過。
