There is a mountain bike race in the neighborhood of Redrock Bay.Charlie invites Matt to enter.Matt is not sure at first.Then he decides to enter.He is very excited.When the day of the race comes,Matt and Charlie arrive early to check their bikes.
The race is about to start.The official is giving a warning.Matt and Charlie's friends are there to watch the race and cheer for them.Look!Charlie is riding well.He is going to win.But what is happening to Matt?

副詞 adverbs
1,副詞，本單元共6個(gè)。
（1）規(guī)則的；（以-ly結(jié)尾）
quick——quickly；slow——slowly；bad——badly
快的、迅速的——迅速地、立即；
慢的、低速的——緩慢地、遲緩地；
壞的、劣質(zhì)的——拙劣地、有害地
（2）以原型不變的副詞形式
hard——hard；fast——fast 硬的、堅(jiān)固的——努力地、堅(jiān)固地；快的、迅速的——迅速地、緊緊地
（3）特殊的形式
good——well 良好的、聰明的——好、滿(mǎn)意地

must 和 have to的區(qū)別。
（1）Must用于一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)和一般將來(lái)時(shí)，在其他形式中用“have to”來(lái)代替。
（2）在意思上；must；“必須”“應(yīng)當(dāng)”have to；“不得不”。
have to 有時(shí)帶有一些勉強(qiáng)和無(wú)奈，因?yàn)槟遣皇亲栽傅?。而在這個(gè)單元have to是指你有義務(wù)有責(zé)任做某件事情。表示勸告和建議（語(yǔ)氣沒(méi)有must強(qiáng)烈）。下面我將舉幾個(gè)例子來(lái)讓大家更好的理解。have to和must的區(qū)別。

I have to feed the fish every morning.
我每天在上不得不喂魚(yú)（你有義務(wù)有責(zé)任喂魚(yú)）。
I have to do the chores every day.
我每天不得不做家務(wù)（作為家庭成員你有責(zé)任有義務(wù)做家務(wù)）。
You have to wear a helmet.
你不得不帶上頭盔。（本單元的句子）作為參加山地車(chē)的比賽選手你有義務(wù)更有責(zé)任戴上頭盔來(lái)保護(hù)自己的安全！
must 的意思是“必須”（語(yǔ)氣比have to更強(qiáng)硬）就是說(shuō)沒(méi)有任何可以商量的余地。你必須這樣做。尤其是在這個(gè)單元中的各種規(guī)則中我們可以多次見(jiàn)到！比如；
You must be more than 10 years old.
你必須在10歲以上（作為山地車(chē)參賽選手你的年齡必須在10歲以上）10歲以下絕對(duì)沒(méi)有參賽資格。這是必須的，沒(méi)有任何商量的余地！
You must have a good mountain bike.
你必須擁有一輛性能較好的山地車(chē)。

marathon race 馬拉松比賽
馬拉松賽是一項(xiàng)長(zhǎng)跑比賽項(xiàng)目，其距離為42.193公里。這個(gè)比賽的距離的確定要從公元前490年的一場(chǎng)戰(zhàn)役講起。戰(zhàn)役是波斯人和雅典人在離雅典不遠(yuǎn)的馬拉松海邊發(fā)生的，史稱(chēng)希波戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，雅典人最終獲得了勝利。為了讓故鄉(xiāng)人民盡快知道勝利的喜訊，統(tǒng)帥米勒狄派一個(gè)叫斐里庇得斯的士兵回去報(bào)信。斐里庇得斯是個(gè)有名的“飛毛腿”，為了讓故鄉(xiāng)人早知道好消息，他一個(gè)勁地快跑，當(dāng)跑到雅典時(shí)，已喘不過(guò)氣來(lái)，只說(shuō)了一句“我們勝利了！”就倒在地上死了。
