What are the characteristics of poems?Can you give me some examples?
Poems have beats.They may rhyme or may not rhyme-but they have to have rhythms.
This beat is not always obvious,but it's usually there.
Find out something special at the end of the lines     rhyme (押韻)

構(gòu)成一個(gè)韻節(jié)的四種情況:
強(qiáng)+弱,強(qiáng)+弱弱
弱+強(qiáng),弱+強(qiáng)
唐詩分無言,七言。根據(jù)韻節(jié)來分英詩可分為單韻詩、雙韻詩、三韻詩....至八韻詩

1.Can you recite any?你會(huì)背一些(詩)嗎?
recite  v.背誦;接連說出,敘述(后直接跟名詞)
Those who can't recite the text must stay behind.
不會(huì)背課文的必須留下來。
Usually we recite all in mind to our mothers when returning home from outside.
通常從外面回來我們就把心里所有話都說給母親聽。
recitation  n.[C]背誦的詩(或文章等)
He gave recitations from Shakespeare.
他背誦了莎士比亞的作品。
2.There are many reasons why people write poems.
人們寫詩有許多原因。
這是一個(gè)主從復(fù)合句,there are many reasons是主句,
why people write poems 是一個(gè)定語從句,修飾reasons,表示某件事情的原因。
Why可以用for which來代替。
在常用句型The reason why...is that...中,why引導(dǎo)定語從句,that引導(dǎo)表語從句,說明the reason的具體內(nèi)容,表示“...的原因是...”

1)reason指理論上的理由
2cause指自然性的原因,常用于指大火、洪水、交通事故的起因
3)excuse借口,不是真正的理由
