on one's own 意為“獨(dú)立地，獨(dú)自地”，一般用作狀語。

2.He used to download information from the internet and made good use of it.
他過去經(jīng)常從因特網(wǎng)上下載文件并好好的利用。
①.download  vt.下載
②.upload  vt.上傳
My sister often uploads pictures to the internet.
③.used to do sth.表示過去經(jīng)常做某事，暗含現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不做了。它本身包含兩個(gè)時(shí)間段：過去和現(xiàn)在。
He used to play basketball.

3.Develop a special interest...
develop用作及物動(dòng)詞
①意為“形成，養(yǎng)成”。如：
The best way to make sure that we will feel and look fine is to develop healthy eating habits.
確保我們身體健康的一個(gè)最好方法就是養(yǎng)成良好的飲食習(xí)慣。
②“開發(fā)”。如
Their rich natural resources,however,are not developed or utilized to the best advantage.
但他們豐富的自然資源還沒有充分地被開發(fā)利用。
③“顯像，沖洗照片”。如：
Can you develop this film for us?
你能為我們沖洗這膠卷嗎？
④“制定（計(jì)劃），研制（產(chǎn)品）”。如：
Scientists are developing new drugs to treat cancer.
科學(xué)家們正在研制治療癌癥的新藥。

4.When I was young I was crazy about radios.
我小時(shí)候非常喜歡收音機(jī)。
be crazy about迷戀；非常喜歡
Many students are crazy about computer games.
聯(lián)想：be keep on對(duì)……著迷

1).advantage n.優(yōu)點(diǎn)；優(yōu)勢(shì)；有利條件
都市生活有幾個(gè)優(yōu)點(diǎn)。
There are several advantages in city life.
2）.disadvantage n.缺點(diǎn)，劣勢(shì)；不利條件
take advantage of          利用
be to your advantage       對(duì)……有利
gain/win/have/own an advantage over sb.    
有優(yōu)于/勝過某人

2.On the football team,I'm a striker so I have to be able to run very fast.
在足球隊(duì)里，我是中鋒，所以我必須跑得非?？臁?br> On此處表示“在………任職”“是……成員”

signal vi./vt.發(fā)信號(hào)
1).vi.(to)“向………打手勢(shì)”；“向………發(fā)信號(hào)”。
She signaled to us for help.
He signaled for help hurriedly.
2).vt.“用信號(hào)發(fā)出”“如果”“用信號(hào)通知”
The police signaled the traffic to move forward slowly.

4.Personally,I think the team who won first place cheated.
我個(gè)人認(rèn)為得冠軍的那個(gè)隊(duì)作弊了。
personally adv.就自己而言；就我個(gè)人來說
She didn't like the plan,but personally I see nothing wrong with it.

1).n.類型
This is a new type of machine,with lots of meters on it.

2).v.打字

Will you please type this letter for me?
{type:表示各項(xiàng)事物在本類中都是典型的。
{kind:特指在分類中能放在一起的性質(zhì)相同且相似的一類事物。

6.We are determined to create an even better system.
我們決心創(chuàng)造一個(gè)更好的系統(tǒng)。
create(vt.)創(chuàng)造；創(chuàng)作
An artist should create beautiful things.
even用于修飾形容詞、副詞的比較級(jí)，
much,far,no,still,a lot,a little

7.In a way,our programmer is like my coach.
從某種程度上看，我們的程序員就像我們的教練
in a/one way在某種程度上，從某種意義上說

8.She programs us with all the possible moves she has seen while watching human games.
她把觀看人類比賽時(shí)所看到的一切可能動(dòng)作編入我們的程序。
move(n.)行動(dòng)；步驟（可數(shù)）
make a move動(dòng)身，采取行動(dòng)
be on the move在活動(dòng)，在進(jìn)行中

9.Then she prepares reliable moves to use if a new situation arises.
arise(arose,arisen)vi.呈現(xiàn),出現(xiàn)；發(fā)生,產(chǎn)生；起身,起立。無被動(dòng)語態(tài)。
常用短語：arise from/out of sth.由……引起；因……產(chǎn)生。

make up組成；構(gòu)成；編造；彌補(bǔ)；化妝

11.after all畢竟；到底；終究
1).有“別忘了”的意思
2).放在句末，“雖然有前面說過的話”或“與預(yù)料中的情況相反”的意思

12.character的3個(gè)主要用法解析:
1)表示人的“性格”或“品質(zhì)”,或表示事物的“特性”等,可用作可數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞。
2)表示小說或戲劇等中的“人物”或“角色”,是可數(shù)名詞。
3)表示“文字”，是可數(shù)名詞，
