(1)so…that…意思是  如此……以至于，用來(lái)引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句，有以下結(jié)構(gòu)：
so+形容詞/副詞+that從句

so+many/much/little/few+名詞+that從句
(2)such…that也引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句，其結(jié)構(gòu)是：
such+a(n)+adj.+單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that-clause

such+(adj.)+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)+that-clause
(3)so+形容詞（副詞）+that…結(jié)構(gòu)中
so+形容詞（副詞）在句首時(shí)，句子用倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)
He works so hard that he seldom goes home.
So hard does he work that he seldom goes home.

apply用法詳解

用法一：apply表示“應(yīng)用”、“運(yùn)用”、“適用”等，
①.要表示“將…運(yùn)用到…”，通常用介詞to：
We decided to apply a new method.
我們決定使用新的方法。
We can better apply theory to practice.
我們就能更好地把理論運(yùn)用到實(shí)踐中去。
②.表示“適用”，要表示“適用于…”
通常用介詞to（不能用for）：
The rule doesn't apply in all cases.
此規(guī)則并非適用于所用的情形。
These methods apply to learning English.
這些方法適用于英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)。

用法二：apply表示“申請(qǐng)”，注意以下用法:
①表示“申請(qǐng)得到…”，要用介詞for；
表示“申請(qǐng)做某事”，其后接不定時(shí)：
More than 30 people applied for the position.
有30多個(gè)人申請(qǐng)這個(gè)職位。
He applied to stay there.他申請(qǐng)留在那兒。
②表示“向…申請(qǐng)（得到）…”，通常用apply to…for…:
He applied to us for help.他向我們求援。

用法三：apply用于短語(yǔ)apply oneself to（專(zhuān)心致力于，專(zhuān)心從事），
其中的to是介詞，其后接名詞或動(dòng)名詞：
He applied himself to his work.
他專(zhuān)心工作。
Apply your mind to your work.
專(zhuān)心工作吧。

2）連接兩個(gè)謂語(yǔ)時(shí)，時(shí)態(tài)應(yīng)保持一致
3）連接兩個(gè)名詞作主語(yǔ)，謂語(yǔ)取決于前面的名詞
