2.You will ignore the bell and go somewhere quietly to calm your friend down.

1）ignore: v.(ignored;ignoring)不理睬；忽視
   ignorance n.  無知；愚昧
   ignorant adj.無知的；愚昧的；不知道的（常與of,in連用）
He completely ignored all these facts as if they never existed.
他完全忽視了這些事實(shí),好像它們根本不存在似的。
The girl's ignorance is surprising.
這個(gè)女孩的無知令人吃驚。
He is ignorant of the rules of football match.
他對(duì)足球比賽的規(guī)則一無所知。

2）calm v.(使)平靜；(使)鎮(zhèn)定
        adj.平靜的；鎮(zhèn)靜的；沉著的
The sea was calm after the storm.
It was difficult to calm down the football fans.
The mother calmed her child down.

詞義辨析:calm/quiet/still/silent

calm:常用于氣候、海洋風(fēng)平浪靜,也可指人的情緒,表示突發(fā)情況下表現(xiàn)鎮(zhèn)靜,冷靜。
quiet:指沒有吵鬧聲,沒有噪音,強(qiáng)調(diào)聲音很小,很低全然無聲。
still:指完全無聲音或不行動(dòng)。
silent:指沉默,沒有聲音。

3.You will tell your friend that you are concerned about him/her and you will meet after class and talk then.

在時(shí)間、條件、讓步狀語從句中,
when,while,as,whenever,as soon as
if,unless,even if, even thogh,though
①若主語和主句的主語一致；
②從句的謂語動(dòng)詞是be(am/is/are/was/were)時(shí),從句的主語與be動(dòng)詞可同時(shí)省略。
Be careful while(you are)driving.
I will attend his wedding if(I am)invited.
Even if(I am)tired,I will finish the task.

*若從句的主語是it,謂語動(dòng)詞是be,則it與謂語動(dòng)詞be也可同時(shí)省略。
If (it is) possible,I can offer you more help.
When (it is) necessary,I will call you up.

1）go through 經(jīng)歷,經(jīng)受（苦難,戰(zhàn)爭,疾?。煌ㄟ^（法律,協(xié)議）；檢查,查找

②尚未……就……（常與情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can/could連用）

④It was/will be+時(shí)間段+before……

1）set down放下；記下；寫下（=write down）
He entered the house and set down his luggage.

He was tired but still had a series of meetings to go to.

3）連詞as的用法:
①“像……一樣”
